About OpenAuction

OpenAuction is a free auction platform for anyone who wants to sell or buy stuff with a story. A 70's vinyl record, a 1793 porcelain cup, a manga series, a first digital generation photographic apparatus, a Roman coin, etc.: For all of them, they are not just isolated items, but are associated with a special joy, a special knowledge and interest which does not end with the seller when the item is sold and which for the buyer was sharede before the item was purchased. The keyword is quality. That is, the quality that the seller and the buyer can meet around, regardless universe. In our view, quality is not associated with exclusivity or high prices. For us, quality is just as relevant for everyday utensils as for expensive antiques. Or, in other words: All items with a history have an exlusitivity to them, and all items with a history have a unique quality. The crucial point is the history of each particular item. Therefore, our motto is "All with a history".
